The
picture above really says it all... This
is by far the easiest way to get the coords and alititude onto
your photos. The advantage is that it is
instant. The disadvantage is that because current
real-time GPS locations "dither", even in the 4000
dollar models, you won't get the most accurate location. I
find that by using my Garmin GPSMAP 96 that I'm within 30 feet
of the real location. I
have found a company that provides the cables necessary to link
the GPS and the Camera together easily. The company is http://www.pc-mobile.net/nikongps.htm.
You'll need two cables; the GND2 (that goes into the D200) and
whichever cable goes to your GPS. It's
that easy. There are good instructions on their website
