Ipsut Creek Cabin - March 18th, 2007

Here's the cabin from the Ipsut Bridge.  The bed of the river (beneath the logs which are up to the bridge deck) is above the level of the cabin.  The cabin is doomed!

The cabin is washed out right in the middle.

There's even a waterfall right out the front door.

Around back the river just came right down through the middle of the forest.

It's historic so they'll have to make an effort or decided whether or not to preserve it.

Someone put a ladder up to get to the door.

This picture is taken from the Ipsut bridge.  You can make out that the river bed is now higher than the cabin.
