February 11th, 2008. In search of a good couple of easy California corn runs, we arrived at Carter Meadows Summit (6105) just about noon. Erik's saddling up Tilly for some nice afternoon tour.
Tilly says, "What up, braugh? You pixies gunna ski, or what?"
One in a backpack carrier (external), one in a belly (internal).
"Dad, watch it to your left. Incoming clouds. Maybe a shift in winds along with it."
Erik and Haley taking turns with Tilly and layin' the cuts strait.

Here, Tilly, Buddha Master of Snowology, is assessing avalanche conditions using the "gum-hardness" scale of layer analysis.
